Make different beverages: With an electric kettle, you can give your day a fresh start with a cup of tea or coffee without using too many utensils. Boil water in your kettle, pour hot water into a mug and let the tea bag steep. If a cup of hot coffee is what you need to kickstart your mornings, add fresh water in your kettle and then add instant coffee and sugar and let everything boil.
Treat yourself with a bowl of soup: A piping hot bowl of soup is perfect to stave off your hunger pangs. The best part of making soup using an electric kettle is that you don’t have to spend hours in the kitchen to prepare it. Chop all the vegetables (carrot, cabbage, beans, onion and garlic) you need and put them in the electric kettle. Pour the required amount of water and let everything boil. Make pulao for lunch or dinner: A hot meal of pulao can make anybody’s day. The best part is you can make it in a jiffy in an electric kettle. Soak rice in water. Cut your favourite vegetables (cauliflower, beans, carrots and potatoes). Keep chopped ginger, garlic, fresh green chillies and coriander ready. Add rice, chopped vegetables and spices, water and salt in the kettle. Let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes. Enjoy it with pickles and a bowl of raita.
Creamy pasta that tastes wow: On rainy evenings, there is nothing more comforting than a bowl of creamy pasta. All you have to do is to add butter in the kettle and pasta with the appropriate quantity of water. Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the type of pasta you have chosen. Drain excess water from the kettle and keep the boiled pasta in a mixing bowl. Now add sweet corn, butter, salt and a few herbs such as oregano and chilli flakes. Add loads of cheese at the end and serve it with garlic bread.
