
Preparing healthy breakfast using induction cooktop – Kutchina
You are aware that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, while you are running around to get things in the morning, it can be a little tough to make healthy breakfast items. To help you start your mornings on a healthy note, we’ve rounded up the healthy breakfast ideas that you can make in a jiffy using our induction cooktops:
Egg sandwich: To make a healthy breakfast you don’t have to spend an hour in the kitchen. With an induction cooktop, you can make an egg sandwich in a jiffy. Place a pan on the induction cooktop, heat a little bit of butter. Add diced onions and break the eggs. Add salt and pepper as per taste. Using a wooden spoon to mix it well. Sprinkle chopped celery. Put the scrambled eggs on the toast and place some slices of cucumber and tomatoes.
Daliya: An excellent source of protein, daliya or broken wheat makes for a great breakfast item. Place a pressure cooker on an induction cooktop. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee and add a pod of cardamom. Now, add a bowl of daliya and stir it well. Now, add 3 bowls of water and add sugar. Let the pressure cooker whistle go off twice or thrice. Now, serve this with milk and your favourite fruits and nuts.
Breakfast burritos with desi twist: If you are in a mood to treat yourself in the morning, then breakfast burritos are a great meal to start your day. On a pan, heat butter and warm ready-made burritos or leftover Rotis. Keep them aside. On the same pan, add some more butter and saute chopped onions and add ginger garlic paste. To this, you add mashed potatoes and corn. Add salt and pepper as per your taste. To make it more flavourful, you can add herbs like chilli flakes and oregano. Now place this mix on the chapatis and add some sliced bell peppers. This is a great snack item to get children to eat veggies.
Whole wheat pancakes: In a mixing bowl, combine one cup whole wheat flour, ½ tsp baking powder and soda, a pinch of salt, and sugar as per taste. Add beaten eggs and mix them together. Now, place a pan on the induction cooktop. Heat 1 tbsp cooking butter and pour a ladle of the pancake mix. Cook for one minute and then flip and cook the other side. Serve it with sliced bananas and honey.
