- Turmeric powder
- Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Coriander powder
- Red dry chilli
- Cumin seeds
- Garam masala
- Salt to taste
Method to make onion-tomato gravy

Step 1: Chop onion and tomatoes and make a smooth paste ( blend them separately) with the help of a mixer grinder. Keep the tomato paste and onion paste aside.
Step 2: Blend chopped ginger and garlic pods until smooth in a mixer grinder and keep aside.
Step 3: Heat oil in a pan and add red dry chilli and cumin seeds.
Step 4: Add the onion paste, turmeric powder and salt and saute until the onion turns transparent.
Step 5: Add ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder and Kashmiri chilli powder and cook well.
Step 6: Add tomato paste and cook until tomatoes turn soft.
Step 7: Add a little water and cook all the ingredients well.
Step 8: When almost done add garam masala powder.
Step 9: Your onion-tomato gravy is ready.
