Here we share with you some easy cookie recipes that you can make at home with OTG:
Recipe 1: Peanut butter cookies:
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cup sugar (powdered)
- 2 eggs
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of Salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
How to make it?
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, unsalted butter and sugar together using an electric hand blender. In another bowl, sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Now, mix everything with the butter mixture using a spatula. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll dough into small balls and flatten them with your fingers. Preheat the oven at 190-degree celsius. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes or until they are brown.
Recipe 2: Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup unflavoured oil
- 1 egg
- 2 cups maida
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
How to make it?
In a mixing bowl, mix pumpkin puree , sugar, oil and egg. In another bowl, mix maida , baking powder, ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Using a whisk, mix the baking soda with the milk and stir in the flour mixture. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and mix everything well. Add vanilla extract and chocolate chips. Roll the dough into balls, flatten them and place them on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven and then bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until lightly brown and crispy.
Recipe 3: Thumbprint cookies with jam:
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 1/4 cup maida
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- A pinch of salt
- Jam
How to make it?
In a bowl, place butter and beat using an electric hand blender until it is creamy. Then add sugar, and beat until ingredients are well-combined. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat well. In another bowl, mix together maida, cornstarch and salt. Then add the egg yolk mixture to the maida mixture. Using a spatula mix them well.
Take a spoonful of dough to make balls. Flatten the balls using your hands. Use your thumb to make an indent in the centre. Keep the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes. Pour jam into each indent. Preheat the oven at 190-degree celsius and bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.
