Recipe 1: Banana Guava Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups yoghurt
- 3 to 4 guavas, deseeded, peeled and chopped
- 1 banana, sliced
How to prepare it?
In a freezer bag, put guavas and bananas. Seal and freeze it for one hour. Put the frozen fruits in a beaker or jar and add yoghurt and mix using a hand blender until consistency is smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a few tablespoons of water.
Recipe 2: Strawberry Guava Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup guava
- 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk or other non-dairy milk
- ½ tsp sugar
How to prepare it?
Remove the stems of strawberries and chop them roughly. Cut the guava in halves, scoop out the seeds, and roughly chop them. Put strawberries, guava, coconut milk and in a jar and blend them until smooth. Stir in sugar if you like your smoothie to be sweet.

- 1 cup guava, roughly chopped
- 1 cup pineapple, diced
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 cups kale
- 1 cup water
- Chia seeds (optional)
- Sugar (optional)
How to prepare it?
In a jar, put guava, pineapple and banana and run the hand blender for about 30 seconds to 40 seconds. Then add kale leaves and water and then run until you get the desired consistency. If the guava isn’t sweet enough, you can add half a teaspoon of sugar. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and garnish with chia seeds

- 1 large pomegranate
- 1 cup yoghurt
- ½ cup guava, chopped
How to prepare it?
Place pomegranate seeds and yoghurt into a breaker and hand blend for a few seconds. Add the guava; blend for 30 to 40 seconds. You can add milk if the consistency of the smoothie is too thick. If you like your smoothie cold, use frozen guava.
